Here are my attempts with flight shots at Thorp Perrow yesterday,I got loads of the Barn Owl, a couple of the Jackal Buzzard but the Saker Falcon was just too quick for me!

It's the first time I've had the D90 set to continuous autofocus and it's something I'm going to have to practice with more often.
Stunning Raptor series Paul. The images are taken beautifully. I like the perfect background and the cool compositions both in this and the previous post.
The sheer variety of this collection is incredible and fantastic.
Bird photography, often from the garden to fit in with a hectic lifestyle but now and again from further afield.
I got the bird watching bug back in Januray 2008 and since then have been busy learning how to handle a DSLR camera in the hope that one day I might know what I'm doing!
Little brown job - Also referred to as LBJ, is a birding term for a small brown bird you can't identify, they are everywhere!

Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC

Great stuff. Looks a terrific place to visit.
I like the Saker Falcon shot, the sharp focus on the head and enough blur to show wing movement.
I love flight shots! They are such a challenge but so satisfying when you get them.
They are ALL FANTASTIC! I can't even imagine being able to capture flight shots as well as you did. Love the owl.
...I think they all go beyond "attempts" and are perfect. Loved them!

Wonderful collection of shots Paul. The second shot of the Barn Owl is particularly good and really demonstrates the hovering movement. Nice one!
Excellent Photography!
