Worsborough Country Park

Had a lovely stroll round Worsborough Country Park with Debbie & Lucy on Sunday and was lucky enough to stumble across a lifer, Tree Creeper! I actually spotted a Blue Tit flitting to and from a tree then while scanning the tree to find him, noticed the bark appear to move. Not the greatest shot of all time, being at quite a distance with the 200mm lens. With out more ado, here are the highlights..

In other news, I've found a trick on the D90, changing the ISO has always meant either pressing the info button or squinting through the viewfinder then holding the ISO button and turning the wheel. Now I've swapped the 'images left' indicator for ISO and now all I need to do is spin the rear wheel to change it while looking at the top display. Sounds quite insignificant but it's going make life a whole lot easier for me when the light changes.

Paul.

Congrats on the lifer - TC not an easy one to capture - well done.
The Canada chick would make a great 'header'.

Brilliant photos. The Tree Creeper camouflage is good - well spotted.
The first cutie is a really stunning photo. Great shots of the Heron in flight as well.

...Nice Tree Creeper (Brown Creeper in our neck of the woods), and that little yellow Canada chick is so cute I can't stand it! Baby Coots are quite a sight!

Great pics Paul. Well done on the Tree Creeper. Difficult birds to spot (unless they move) let alone photograph. They're still very high on my "much wanted" list!!

Fun images of the fuzzy young. I especially liked the Canada and the coots.
