RSPB Old Moor

Having escaped Potteric just as the rain arrived on Saturday we moved on to RSPB Old Moor and waited for the rain to pass before going for a wander. I just took the 70-300 round with me, I'd had enough lugging the bigma about all week and the smaller lens is easier to keep dry. The highlight was a Sedge Warbler, a first sighting for me, which patiently stayed put for over an hour.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon there, Debbie was getting in to her stride with her new bridge camera, getting really close shots of the Sedge Warbler, even having to zoom back out, how cool is that for a tiny bird in a tree!
